Sacred Space - Contemplative Service with Holy Eucharist
Sacred Space offers a time of quiet and solitude in the presence of God. It is a place for worship that is both meditative and beautiful, employing candlelight and icons to evoke a sense of holy presence that calms our “busy” souls. It is a service that is open to all and allows a time for seeking God through prayer, reflection, and Holy Communion.
Where: Trinity Episcopal Church, 803 Figueroa St. in Folsom.
When: 7:15 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month.
Trinity Outreach Council
We support Twin Lakes Food Bank, Powerhouse, St Matthews and Wind Youth Services. These were chosen based on the outreach councils criteria: in our community, impacts the most people and a Christian based organization.
There are several yearly projects: Diaper Donation Sunday, Back to School Drive, Thanksgiving and Easter Dinners Bags , The Christmas Basket Project, monthly needs for St Matthew’s, monthly donations for the food closet, Angel Tree and the Recycling Program for Wind Youth Services.
Twin Lakes Food Bank: Ingathering every second Sunday of the month. Items needed can be found here. The food bank's general food supplies are nearly gone. We ask that you continue to be generous in your giving and support of the Twin Lakes Food Bank.
Quality of Life Cards
Since we all shop for food, there is an opportunity for all of us to participate in the Raley’s - Bel Air - Nob Hill Quality of life Card Program. As folks show their card to the cashier during the purchase, Trinity Church is credited. The Raley’s Corporation sends us a quarterly check, which is a percentage (1 – 4%) of what is spent from those using the Quality of life card. A card can be obtained on Sundays in the Parish Hall, from the Church Office or any Vestry member can help you get one.
Here's your chance to submit your comments and concerns regarding the church's facilities directly to our Junior Warden.
Add/Change/Delete - Please Help Us Keep Our Church Records Current By Completing a Membership Form
For all newcomers and those who have joined our parish this past year, there is a yellow Membership Form for you to fill out with pertinent information for our database. This information includes birthdates for family members, baptism and confirmation dates and previous church where your records may be kept. When we have your address and phone, we can include your name and birthday in the newsletter (just month and day) and send the monthly newsletters and other mailings to you.
These yellow Membership Forms can be found in a file folder, near the front, in our Communication crate. The Communication crate is located in the parish hall on the back table near the men’s restroom each Sunday. Please fill one out for your family and return it to the office. Or, call the office at 985-2495 and we will be happy to send one to you.
