Children's Worship Center
The Children's Worship Center at Trinity (alias Sunday
School) gives our children a place to learn about their spirituality and the
Episcopal Church and their love of God on their own level. While they
participate in the service weekly, we provide Christian education for ages 4 1/2
- 12+ in a classroom setting. The lessons provide a Biblical background with a
chance to use activities for reinforcement. Our intention is to provide a
comfortable, happy environment that will make any child feel welcome.
As parents, we obviously have decided that our faith is a priority because we
are at church on Sundays with our families. This also must be reflected in our
ministry in the classroom. We need involvement by the congregation to keep our
classes going. Whether it is teaching for period of time, or helping by doing
special projects, our program won't work without adults to donate their time to
be with the children. The year is broken up into units that are no more than 9
weeks long, and class time is about an hour and you will be back into church by
9:50 am. So, what are you waiting for? Please
make this ministry a priority. Encourage your children to attend regularly and
make room in your schedule to help out.
