The Altar Guild has its roots in the most ancient and sacred traditions of Jesus’ ministry. The purpose of the Altar Guild is to ensure that everything is in place for each worship service. Duties include setting up the altar, arranging the flowers, preparing the bread and wine for the Holy Eucharist, filling the candles with oil, polishing the brass and silver, and caring for linens. Every function from setting up the altar for the celebration of the Eucharist to decorating the church for Easter and Christmas is designed to enhance the worship experience at Trinity Church.

Being part of the Altar Guild is also a unique opportunity for fellowship, and a way to learn the traditions associated with preparing the church for each service.
