Annual Parish Meeting ~ January 23rd at 10:30am
Our parish’s Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 23rd, at 10:30am in the Parish Hall. We’ll elect three people to the vestry: Charlie Biegel, Christy Evans, and Katriona McLean-Lucas. We’ll also review the year past and look ahead to what we’ll be doing in 2022, and we’ll elect delegates to diocesan convention. If you’re interested in serving as a delegate to diocesan convention, please e-mail Fr. Todd.
Sundays at Trinity Folsom: Our Campus Is Open for Worship!
We are so excited to welcome you back to gathering for worship in our newly expanded and renovated building! We’ll also continue broadcasting on Facebook on Sundays at 9am and 11:15am.
- Masks covering your mouth and nose are required when you are in the building. Lectors will remove their masks to read, and the clergy will remove their masks to preach and to celebrate the Eucharist. The parish staff and all volunteers interacting with the public are vaccinated. If you forget or do not have a mask, we have some available and the ushers will provide one for you.
- Communion will continue to be in one kind only (the bread), and you can slide your mask off briefly to consume it.
- Children’s Chapel and Nursery have resumed. Masks are required in Children’s Chapel and in Nursery for anyone over the age of 2. Special Needs Respite Care at the 11:15am has also resumed.
Finally, since we are masking, you do not have to be vaccinated to attend worship service in the building. But if you are not already vaccinated and you can be and are eligible, we strongly encourage you to make that appointment! Many of us signed up as soon as possible, but others have been waiting, for reasons of convenience, lack of a sense of urgency, vaccine hesitancy, or any one of a number of other reasons. If you just haven’t gotten around to it yet, let this be the prompt to take care of it. Even if you aren’t concerned about the risk for yourself, this disease is relatively easy to transmit and can have devastating consequences for some people, particularly the elderly and the medically vulnerable, so vaccination doesn’t just protect you, it helps to protect everybody. If you have questions or concerns about the safety of the vaccines, let me know; we can research and think through it together, or I can refer you to one of the many doctors, nurses, public health professionals, and other healthcare workers we have in the parish. ~ Fr.
