All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all!
Our annual blessing of the animals, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, is scheduled for Sunday, October 1st, at 1pm. We’ll gather either in the churchyard immediately in front of the church, or more probably inside the church itself. We’ll have some treats for the animals, and a sermon (what a treat!) and Communion for the humans.
All animals are welcome, but please bring them on a leash, harness, or in a carrier, for their protection and the protection of everyone (and everything) attending. All people are welcome, too, and all baptized Christians are welcome to receive Communion in The Episcopal Church.
