Trinity Sunday Parish Picnic ~ Sunday, May 26, 4:30pm

Services

at Trinity

Come and join us to worship, pray, love, and hope, and to find and renew faith. Together we celebrate, struggle, and discern ways to live closer to Jesus Christ. All are welcome and encouraged to share in our services.

Trinity Folsom is one of the few churches in the area that worships in a traditional style and meets in an old-fashioned church building. Our services include prayer, readings from the Bible, a sermon, and communion. We sing traditional songs accompanied by either organ or piano. Communion (consecrated bread and wine) is received at the altar rail. If you have not yet been baptized as a Christian, you are welcome to come to the rail for a blessing during communion.

Sunday Mornings

  • Services are held at 7:30am, 9am (with Nursery and Children’s Chapel), and 11:15 am (with Nursery and Children’s Chapel).
  • Services are traditional with prayer, Bible readings, a sermon, eucharist, and traditional music. At 9 am and 11:15am, Children’s Chapel is offered during the first part of the service. Designed for ages three through eight, Children’s Chapel is age-appropriate worship that is similar to the Book of Common Prayer worship going on in the church.
  • Nursery care is offered for infants and young children from 8:45am until 12:30pm.
  • Sunday School for all ages, including adults, begins at 10:30am. The Sunday School year runs from mid-August until Trinity Sunday, in late May or early June. The adults Sunday School class meets in the main room of the Parish Hall; look for signs directing you to the children’s classrooms.
  • At 11:15am, our choir leads the singing.
  • Coffee and doughnuts are offered at coffee hour in the Parish Hall after the 9am and 11:15am services.
  • The 9am and 11:15am service are broadcast on our Facebook page. Visit the Online Worship Resources page to learn more.

Sunday Evenings

  • At 7pm, we offer a contemplative service with eucharist. The lights are turned down, one hymn may be chanted, and instead of a sermon, there is more time for silent prayer and meditation on that Sunday’s Gospel lesson.

Weekdays

  • On Wednesdays at 8pm, we say Compline online.
  • Weekday services are scheduled on an occasional basis. Please check the parish calendar for upcoming services.
